Usher & Greeter Ministry
The heart of an Usher and Greeter is the heart of a servant, and he or she must have the willingness to work for Lord Jesus. A church usher and or greeter must have a true love for the people of the church and a desire to promote an atmosphere of reverence and worship in the house of God. An Usher or Greeter must be Prayerful, Diligent, Faithful, Available and Teachable, and Timely, Thoughtful, Tactful, and Love People of God.
Welcome! One simple word that says so much! First impression is everything. Our goal is to share a kind word, open a door, offer a handshake or just lend a helping hand to our members, guests, and visitors as they enter the doors of our church.
- We care about people!
- We’re here to meet members, guests, and visitors needs.
- We have willingness to serve.
- We share the grace and love of Jesus!
1 Peter 4:9-11 (NIV) says:
9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
”Our goal is simple and direct: Make people feel welcome at our church!”
